India’s IPO market faces a busy week as EAAA India Alternatives, SFC Environmental Technologies, BLS Polymers, M.K. Sons Fine Jewels and Bombay Coated and Special Steel…

Five companies will enter India's primary market between 26 and 29 October, collectively seeking close to ₹2,600 crore. The offerings span alternative investments, environmental technology, polymers, jewellery retail and steel processing, giving investors a varied set of businesses to evaluate in a single week.

EAAA India Alternatives leads with a ₹1,200-crore issue. The Edelweiss Financial Services arm has set a price band of ₹1,585–₹1,665 per share, implying a valuation of ₹10,765 crore at the top end. The issue is entirely an offer for sale by the Edelweiss Group, so the company itself will receive no proceeds. The size has been trimmed from the ₹1,500 crore proposed in its January draft red herring prospectus. Subscription runs from 26 to 28 October.

SFC Environmental Technologies follows with a ₹667.53-crore offering open from 27 to 29 October. The price band is ₹313–₹330 per share. The structure combines a fresh issue of ₹150 crore with an offer for sale of ₹517.53 crore. A wastewater treatment and solid waste management solutions provider, the company intends to deploy fresh proceeds towards repaying borrowings and meeting working capital needs. Retail applicants must bid for at least 45 shares, or ₹14,850 at the upper band.

BLS Polymers will raise ₹255 crore through a wholly fresh issue, open 27 to 29 October, at ₹142–₹150 per share. The minimum application is 100 shares, or ₹15,000 at the top end. The company makes specialised polymer compounds for power cables, telecom networks, railways and underground pipelines. Of the proceeds, ₹77.56 crore is earmarked for expanding its Goa plant and ₹89.5 crore for working capital.

M.K. Sons Fine Jewels opens its ₹275-crore issue on 28 October, closing 30 October, with a price band of ₹153–₹162. The Mumbai-based retailer runs jewellery showrooms in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, selling gold, diamond and other jewellery. Details of the Bombay Coated and Special Steels issue were not available in the excerpt.
