SEBI Clears Atomberg IPO
The Securities and Exchange Board of India has issued its observation letter to consumer appliances maker Atomberg, formally allowing the company to proceed with its proposed initial public offering. The regulator's letter is dated October 30, coming roughly two months after the company submitted its draft IPO papers. Proceeds from the fresh issue have been earmarked: ₹90 Cr for repaying or prepaying certain borrowings, ₹150 Cr for brand awareness and performance marketing, ₹100 Cr for research and development, and the balance for general corporate purposes.

However, consolidated net loss widened 26.8% to ₹148.9 Cr from ₹117.4 Cr. On distribution, the company reported 626 distributors and direct dealers and 46,932 retail touchpoints across about 1,600 cities and towns as of March 31, 2026, with after-sal…
